STARCOMMS DASHME
Send credit to your family and friends with Starcomms DashMe.
This service allows you as a Starcomms subscriber with the required minimum airtime
balance to send money/ airtime credit freely from your Starcomms phone to another
Starcomms phone via SMS. With Starcomms DashMe, you can transfer credit with ease through a secured way.
HOW TO USE:
The service is available by default to all subscribers once the line is activated. To commence the transfer, the subscriber dials;
*678*<Amount>*<Recipient Phone Number>*<PIN># then press SEND/YES/OK.
E.g. *678*100*018049094*1234# or *678*100*07028000505*1234#
A notification SMS is received by the sender
e.g. "Starcomms DASHME Transaction: N100 transferred to 018049094. 05/12/06, 16:39:58."
The recipient also gets a confirmatory SMS
e.g. "Congrats! U have recieved N100 credit from 018049959 on 05/12/06, 16:39:32.
Ur a/c bal: N15,900.00. Expiry: 05/03/07. Starcomms DASHME".
The "DASHME" service is FREE for both the sender and the receiver.
BENEFIT
The service is secured by a personal identification number.
BUSINESS RULE
The minimum amount transferable in any transaction is N50.00 only.
The maximum amount transferable in any transaction is N1,000.00 only.
The transfer would be in full Naira amount with no kobo denomination,
e.g. 43 but not N43.50k.
The destination phone number must be entered using 018xxxxxx or 07028xxxxxx and not 804xxx or 7028xx.
The PIN or password can be modified by dialing *999* and following the voice prompt.Kindly secure your PIN (personal identification number).
Validity is not transferred while using the "DASHME" service.
