Starcomms international roaming prepaid services allows you to use your mobile phone service overseas outside of Nigeria to make and receive voice calls, send and receive SMS whilst overseas .
You can recharge your account overseas by dialling +234 702 8000200 and input your pre purchased Starcomms recharge cards

GETTING YOU STARTED
When you arrive in your destination. Insert your roaming GSM SIM card into your Dual SIM or GSM mobile phone & switch on your phone
It will automatically pick up the preferred network available at the location. In some instances no network may be available and this is based on the availability of service in that country
If you want to select your preferred network manually, You could select a network of your choice by going to settings, network settings, Manual network selection and then scrolling through the menu bar to view all the available roaming networks and choose your preferred roaming network.
It’s important to note that
some handsets may require you to manually select a roaming network; in this case
your mobile phone manual will guide you
MAKING A CALL
To make a local or international call whilst roaming, just follow this standard process
To a mobile Dial “+” followed by the country code and the mobile number (excluding the initial 0)
To a fixed number Dial ”+” followed by the country code, the area code then the local number
For example: If you are roaming in the UK and want to call a UK mobile number
Dial the number in International format, e.g ( +447123456789 )for the UK
For Nigeria, Dial the mobile number in international format(excluding the initial 0) i.e
+2347028000123 Then press: SEND/YES
SENDING SMS
To send SMS to any destination including the visited country & home country, you will follow the same standard process
Simply enter the ”+” followed by the country code, mobile number you wish to send the SMS
TOPPING UP YOUR ACCOUNT
It is usually adviceable for prepaid subscribers to top up their account, to cover their expected usage overseas, before travelling.
To top up whilst roaming abroad, you would be required to call the recharge number (+2347028000200 and follow the automated instructions to top up using Starcomms Recharge Cards). This is a chargeable call.

But you must register on the website just follow these simple steps to register:
(If you are a new user)
Go to www.starcomms.com web site
Click on "NEW USER" at the pay online section.
Enter your preferred user name and your phone number.
Enter the validation code and click "ENROLL"
The user name and password will be sent to your registered email address.
You are now ready to use the online renewal facility. Simple isn’t it!.
Once you are registered,
Go to www.starcomms.com
Enter your username and password in the pay online section.
Click on "VOUCHER PAYMENT" button.
Input the PIN when asked. The default PIN is 1234.
You would be informed about your E-wallet status.

As a courtesy you will be notified when your account balance gets to N500, to alert you of a low roaming balance. .
