    Talkie tariffs are tariff plans on the local number plans. Talkie desktop phones have a variety of features to enhance and simplify the lifestyle of the user

  2. HOW MANY PRODUCTS ARE ON TALKIE?
    There are currently 5 prepaid plans on Talkie: TalkEASY PSB, TalkEASY PMB, TalkSMART, TalkBIZ and TalkPROFITS.

  3. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STARCOMMS TALKIE AND STARCOMMS ROAMING TARIFF PLANS?
    Starcomms Mobile (Roaming) offers full mobility to subscribers and is available on the 0702-8/0702-9/0819-0/0819-1 number plans. While Talkie is available only on the local number plan, and can only be used in the resident state of the subscriber.

  4. CAN I ROAM ON MY EXISTING NUMBER (LOCAL NUMBER PLAN)?
    No, Roaming is only available on the 0702-8/0702-9/0819-0/0819-1 number plan.

  5. WHAT ARE YOUR PEAK AND OFF PEAK TIMES?

    PEAK AND OFF PEAK TIME BANDS

    Peak period 07:00hrs- 22:00hrs 7am to 10pm
    Off Peak period 22:00hrs - 07:00hrs 10pm to 7am

  6. WHAT IS DAC?
    DAC simply means Daily Access Charge - a small charge you pay daily to enjoy very low tariff rates on all calls made.

      Calls within Starcomms network across Nigeria (on the local number plan) Nigeria

    • Unified On-net
      All calls to 0702-8/0702-9/0819-0/0819-1 mobile series on Starcomms network across Nigeria

    • Local Off net
      Calls from Starcomms network to another PTO/Nitel numbers across Nigeria

    • Unified Off-net
      All calls from Starcomms network to any other 0702/0819 unified number accross Nigeria

    • GSM
      Means all calls from Starcomms network to any GSM number across Nigeria

  7. WHAT IS PREPAID?
    This is when a subscriber pays are certain amount of airtime in advance before actual usage of the service

  8. WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF PREPAID?
    No contracts, no documentation, pay as you go (you control your spend) Instant connection, recharge at your convenience.

  9. WHO CAN USE PREPAID SERVICES?
    Any one can use prepaid

  10. WHAT IS PER SEC BILLING TARIFF PLAN?
    Per second billing is a tariff plan allows you pay for your exact talk time.
    That is your calls are billed for the exact call duration, without rounding to the next minute; i.e. if you spend 15 seconds on a call you are billed for exactly 15 seconds.

  11. WHO CAN USE THIS PLAN?
    Any Starcomms subscriber can use this plan especially if you make short quick calls.

  12. WHAT IS PER MINUTE BILLING TARIFF PLAN?
    Per minute billing is a tariff plan that is billed by the minute. Ideal for subscribers who make longer calls

  13. AS AN EXISTING SUBSCRIBER, HOW DO I MIGRATE TO ANOTHER TARIFF PLAN?
    Simply work into any starcomms shop or starpoint closest to you, request and fill up a migration form, indicate new tariff plan and submit completed form to customer service Personnel.

  14. HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN THE NEW PLAN IS ACTIVATED?
    You will receive an SMS notification, once the new plan is activated

  15. HOW TO MIGRATE?
    For any subscriber wanting to migrate from per sec to per min or per min to per sec:

    • Simply walk into any Starcomms service center or Starpoint closest to you

    • Request and Fill up a migration form

    • Select preferred billing plan and submit completed form to Customer service personnel

  16. CAN I DO DATA SERVICE ALONG WITH VOICE?
    Yes by subscribing for data service and selecting a subscription plan

  17. WHAT VALUE ADDED SERVICES CAN I ENJOY?
    VAS bouquet available on all prepaid plans - Funbox (chat, information, ringtones, jokes, weather updates, news, text, horoscope gossip), call conferencing etc.

  18. HOW MANY TIMES CAN I SWITCH TARIFF PLANS?
    As often as you want within the stipulated period. You will be charged a migration fee.
